The University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (UMP) is pleased to announce its first international journal MedPharmRes (Publication permit 121a/GP-BTTTT of March 23, 2017 by the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam). MedPharmRes is proud to be an international open access peer reviewed journal that delivers cutting edge research in various aspects of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and other health sciences. Our vision is that MedPharmRes will be indexed in ISI and PubMed with an impact factor > 2.0 within two to three years.
MedPharmRes welcomes unpublished original works of theoretical, technical, or methodological research as well as papers describing empirical practices from health scientists and healthcare professionals. MedpharmRes targets researchers from various fields and encourages expansion of significant and innovative research towards changes in health practices.
MedPharmRes publishes quarterly works from all fields of medicine, public health, epidemiology, and pharmacy, including drug synthesis and delivery, and health education research. MedPharmRes publishes 4 times a year with the goal of enhancing high quality research publication and promoting innovative research spirit. Our editorial board objectively evaluates all submissions based on their originality, technical rigidity, and relevance to journal scopes.
Aims and Scope
MedPharmRes is owned by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City and published under Open Access arrangement. MedPharmRes publishes quarterly and covers all fields in medicine, public health, epidemiology, and pharmacy, including drug synthesis and delivery and health and medical education research, in an attempt to bridge the gaps between healthcare and clinical specialization. The journal’s publication criteria are based on the accuracy of the research methodology and high ethical standards.
MedPharmRes targets researchers globally, including basic scientists, healthcare professionals, pharmacists, policy makers and anyone involved in improving the quality of human health. The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality works in various formats, including original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, case reports, editorials, letters to editor, commentaries, brief reports, conference abstracts and negative results. MedPharmRes only accepts manuscripts in English.

Article-processing charges
Publication is free of charge for articles submitted in 2017 and 2020 thanks to the support of University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City. The University keeps supporting researchers during Covid-19 pandemic. A publication fee of 100.00 USD per manuscript is not charged for all papers published on MedPharmRes since September 2021 as planned but after 1st July 2022. After final acceptance, author(s) will be communicated by the journal office on how to pay for the publication fee.
How to Submit:
Before submitting a manuscript, authors should carefully review the title, keywords and abstract. These elements are key to ensuring that readers will be able to find the article through online search engines. Authors should also confirm that:
1/ The work should be original and not replicated in whole or in part from elsewhere.
2/ The work belongs in the health sciences.
3/ There is no plagiarized content.
4/ Accurate study designs are used, results are described accurately, with solid statistical analysis.
All manuscripts should be in English.
